Middle School

The Future Philanthropists middle school curriculum is generally comprised of 10 hour-and-a-half sessions, with each activity broken down into 5 minute intervals. Even without prior knowledge of nonprofit organizations, teachers can easily follow the directions outlined in the curriculum. However, many of our teachers have been inspired to plan creative additions such as volunteering initiatives and guest speakers. Future Philanthropists encourages teachers to modify the existing curriculum in a way which most effectively energizes and engages their own youth participants.  We work with middle school teachers and principals on an individual basis to develop a curriculum and schedule which will work with their schools’ administrative capabilities and student populations.
