High School
The high school Future Philanthropists curriculum generally consists of 13 hour-and-a-half sessions, with each activity broken down into 5 minute intervals. Even without prior knowledge of the philanthropic sector, teachers can follow the directions outlined in the curriculum. However, many of our teachers have been inspired to plan creative additions such as fundraising initiatives, a grant review process, and a mentoring program. Future Philanthropists encourages teachers and principals to modify the program in a way which will energize and engage their students. We work with high school teachers and principals on an individual basis to develop a curriculum and schedule which will work with their schools’ administrative capabilities and student populations.
